Die Casting Parts
Die casting is a metal casting process that is characterized by forcing molten metal under high pressure into a tool cavity. The tool cavity is created using two hardened tool steel dies, which have been machined into shape.
Die casting parts produce high quality, uniform pieces that can be created in just about any size, part geometry, surface texture, or finish. Most LED heatsink and automotive castings are made from non-ferrous metals, specifically zinc and aluminum alloys.
